![]() Not sure if there are great evade items, the most I've seen is 5, but even 80-85% dodge will make him extremely hard to kill (and maxing dodge is better than maxing block because damage still goes though block). He can also have 50% evade base without items and another 30% from inspiration. But you can equip him with a large power crystal, because he has magic sense, which makes him a better "archer" than Criftaa if you have that. Dagger throw is pretty strong, however you do run out of power fast. As a dodge based melee he isn't really good at protecting your backline and is better in smaller fights. Renkailon is pretty weak but has some meme build potential. Ultimately he kinda needs a specific setup and levels to perform. The two of them can output some impressive single target damage with brutal charge/mantis stab if it lines up so he may go up to B if used like that. ![]() ![]() Rotating on his own with his dagger is not efficient in terms of damage, so he need someone to help rotate him, which means he needs to pair up with Gor'Goro on the same line (or someone with high dodge and acrobatic but it's too random). He needs to rotate back and forth to have good damage output with his mantis stab (kukri shank is below average). Harvek is a melee dps, a squishy one before his endgame +1 armor perk which takes a while to get. Probably the least exciting lategame companion. She is very useful at the start when she's the main ranged damage dealer but others outscale her quite fast. This doesn't really compare to any of the mages or buffed up Garrik though once hey get some levels. She shoots a bow from range with some ok damage. His rune also deals good magic damage on average if you can stomach it sometimes healing enemies and was instrumental in focusing down some impervious enemies with 3 mages in my playthough. ![]() However he does get a lot better later on when in big fights his bomb can be helpful to reduce incoming damage and he can output some impressive single target damage himself once you stack enough accuracy on him. I think Garrick is hands down the worst starting companion with his lack of consistency and need for reloads if you're using the pistol. Pity you need both an animal handler and a tank, you can replace her with Criftaa as a handler but you really don't have good candidates for a 3rd frontliner after Skronar and Gor'Goro. Outside of combat she also gets a personal seal disapproval from me for being a wuss and pretty much the only companion I had trouble keeping happy and being stuck at Resentful even after completing her storyline. Still he doesn't compare the the above at higher prowess but he's still solid with a good mix of damage, tank and cc.Įylani - top tier tank with a good stun. Gor'Goro is actually probably S in the earlygame as he's imo the strongest starting companion between his 1 armor, large hp pool and good damage output. Skronar is the best tank that can grant extra actions to the above (gets crazy at lvl 3 when it's more than 1 extra action) and can also stun and even do some ok damage. Probably the strongest solo fighter and the one I won the entirety of Invisible arena including oghre fight with, not sure who else can do it, maybe max dodge Renkailon with Inspiration and hope for good rolls. Only weakness is that she's ironically kinda bad vs daemons who have a lot of fire and mind resist. She also has one of the best CC skills and a summon that's like an extra 0.5 party members in fights with less than 6 ppl. Nedir also has great AoE that can even work better vs high dodge monsters as it bypasses dodge entirely. Finndurarth destroys 6v6 fight with chain lightning and has a great tank buff (when leveled up).
